Some cute nail designs... only three colors? ?

Hey!


I wanted to do something cute with my nails, but I only have three colors:


Red, Deep Purple, and a darkish Nude.





Any ideas?Some cute nail designs... only three colors? ?
Red and white always works, maybe flowers? they are always cute, here are a few other examples that might work for you.

Red base w/ purple polka dots and vice versa (maybe alternate - one finger = red w/ purple, next = purple w/ red)


Make stripes horizontal or vertical - not just two stripes, but maybe 4 or 5 (depending on nail length)


Just use red/just use purple


Clear w/ purple tips


-- for all of the above I would put clear over top.


I'm not a fan of nude, looks like skin is covering your fingernails, yikes =/





And btw, sometimes just doing one solid colour looks really good, especially just red.
Paint them with the nude colour then use the red and purple for tiny hearts (if you're using a brush and not a nail pen, use a tooth pick to make details).


Or paint a solid colour and use an other colour on the tips as a twist to the french manicure.


Any sort of stripe is cool, just make one colour the base then create one or two tiny stripes in any direction.


Just some ideas.
1.make the base deep purple.





2.use the red to make a swirling design across the nail.





3.then use the Nude color to dot it, if you'd like.





*TIP* i wouldn't really use the nude color though. it duznt really match. go get contemporary colors like white, black, pink, blue, etc.
id say lines but thats so boring You can do polka dots with tooth picks (takes a lot of time) I think You should only use the purple and red and oh ya you should get more nail polish! :D how about polka dots and stripes? stripes with polka dots?

I would do the nude with red tips, and possibly, if your good with nail designs, a purple star would look absolutely amazing!





Or....





All purple with a red zig-zag/lightening bolt looking thing in the middle.

do a plaid like design! with those colors super cute or do nude all over and deep purple on the tips with a small red line where the nude and purple meet, hope that makes sense..
I'm personally a fan of the Deep Purple. Purple is my favorite color. Also go with your fav color out of the three.
You could do purple on one nail with red dots, then the next one could be red with purple dots and so on. Or one nail red, another nail purple, etc...


What color is darkish nude?
Do a tropical (clear with a colored tip).





or something fun, like 1 nail one color and the next nail another color.
You could totally do a french tip look with red or purple as the white part or you could do stripes or polka dots :)
You should try purple or red, then taking a toothpick and making a little flower on each thumb with the darkish nude :3
not a great selection...





those colors don't combine that great-- so just pick one color and all your nails the same... or..





try black nails with a white design...
Polka dots with any of those colors combined would be cute
put the purple down then do a red tip also put the clear over it to add shine
do red as the nail color and the deep purple on the tips...or the other way around!
Use the darkish nude for the most part then do some.. swirls with the red or deep purple?

put them in lines and then put the clear on the top
i would do red with purple polka dots i hope this helps
