also, can i paint my nails a color, let them dry 4 10 mins, ten put scotch tape on %26amp; do colored tips w/o 1st coat peelin off? thx.

I'm not really sure... but I think that the only sure way to find out is if you try.. because some nail polish is cheaper than other and will chip.. while others won't. It doesn't hurt just to try.. as long as you have cotton balls and nail polish remover in case it doesn't workNail polish designs?
No, scotch tape will peel your polish off if you don't wait a few hours. Sally Hansen makes this clear polish that is supposed to dry your polish in 3 minutes, you can try that. Otherwise, just buy those French manicure sticker guides. They're only about $3 and work much better!
